Toddler Gets Rash Around Mouth After Eating. Gave ds some yogurt today not much he hated it but he got a red bumpy rash with white dots in the middle all around his mouth -like hives and he spit up most of it. When I wiped it away it left a red stain-like marking all around his mouth. For example some babies develop eczema-like rashes in response to eating certain foods. Oral thrush is one of the most common causes of a rash around a toddlers mouth and this is especially true in infants under six months of age.
Larger dose seem to cause burning sensation so I apply only a little. If shes teething its just probably teething rash hun. My daughter had a really bad teething rash lately and someone on here recommended aveeno barrier cream it worked really well x. I dont feed her eggs anymore because the rash is worse with eggs than with tomatoes I suppose she is allergic to these products. Maybe wait until a little older to reintroduce him to them.
